The company’s Audit Committee established in December 2003 comprises two individuals outside the organizational structure of the company selected by the company’s Board of Commissioners on account of their expertise and industry experience. The responsibilities of the members of the Audit Committee are to assist the Board of Commissioners to improve the transparency and quality of financial reporting, the structure of appropriate internal controls and the implementation of Good Corporate Governance practice at every level of management. Cornelius W. Pranata Mr. Pranata graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Toledo, Ohio in 1988 and continued his studies earning an MBA in 1989. He began his career as an Equity Research Analyst with PT Danamon Securities the following year and in 1991 joined PT Lippo Securities as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, a position he held until December 1998. Since then, Mr. Pranata has held several senior positions in corporations around the region including PLB Engineering Malaysia, RGM International Singapore, and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Singapore. Mr. Pranata is currently serving as a Director in Capital Link Asia Advisory Singapore, and Moores Rowland Corporate Advisory Singapore. Mr. Pranata also holds an Investment Advisory License from the Monetary Authority of Singapore and an Underwriting and Dealer License from the Indonesian Capital Market Supervisory Board. Rudy Soraya After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the Australian National University in Canberra in 1979 Mr. Soraya spent 10 years working as senior auditor, adviser and manager at several companies and government organizations in Sydney including Arthur, Young & Company, Nelson Parkhill, the Auditor General’s Office, and the Public Accounts Committee for the Australian National Parliament. Mr. Soraya returned to Indonesia in 1990 to join Lippo Group as a Director. Between 1995 and 1999 he was Group Director for PSB Group and Senior V.P. for Royal Holdings, Asia-Pacific before joining Taira & His Capital as a Managing Director and Partner in 2000, a position he still holds today.
